SHEFFIELD’S LEADING SPRINGTIME EVENT 

THE HIGHLAND FLING & COUNTRY FAYRE 2009

Sunday and Monday - 3rd and 4th May 2009

After another very successful event in 2008 and now well established in the event calendar - this show with increased attractions is returning this early Spring Bank Holiday Sunday and Monday 2009

Current Attractions proposed for this year include

6th year of the event set on the May Day weekend. Family orientated event set in Sheffield with a regional attendee promotion. The event will comprise of the following.

• A central performance arena featuring an eclectic mix of stunt dog displays, mountain bike shows Circus skills and a whole host of other entertainments. 
• Cattle show and Lama area, Donkey and Shire horse cart rides
• A huge farmers market with local produce, Traders, info stands, food traders, arts and crafts
• Camping Zone with products and displays
• Green Treasure Hunt
• Army and Fire services
• Funfairs
• Sports Activity Zone featuring street kick football, cricket and races.
• Toddlers zone with groups offering activities to under 5’s with parents.
• Horse riding zone
